Poor quality dresses for $100 price tag (USA buyer)

These dresses are "designed" in AUS but made in China... and it shows. The quality varies from dress to dress but overall is incredibly poor to me. I have attempted to own 4 dresses now from this company and I have been disappointed in each dress. The sizing varies sooo much because the quality control is just non existent. I've purchased 4 dresses hoping for one to work because when you return a dress you either have to pay $20 "fee" to ship it back and have a fraction of the price you initially paid returned to your card or you can return for "free" and get a gift card. Except you never get back the price you paid because the buyer still has to pay sales tax & import fees & shipping. I just absolutely do not recommend, not to mention I have seen these same exact dresses on other sites like Billy J & even on Amazon for a QUARTER of the price. Don't waste your time, especially if you're ordering from the US.

Hi, I wanted to surprise my daughter with few of your fabulous dresses. She has purchased a few dresses from your store before and was very happy with her purchase. I was not sure of the size for a particular design so I emailed your team. They responded within a few hours. On purchasing the dresses I did not see anywhere I could leave a Happy Birthday note. So again I emailed your team asking if it was possible to include a birthday note. They responded promptly ensuring they would include my birthday note. Excellent customer service and fabulous dresses. Thank you Terry Chin

I ordered 2 dresses for $216 and when received realized that they don’t fit and returned them within 3 days. All tags and labels attached. They have refunded me $165 because of some return fees. Definitely not set up for online purchasing

The exchange/return process was great, Very much appreciated your customer service on being very understanding and open to my request. The delivery speed of the new item purchased/exchanged was lightning fast - amazed when I saw the item the next morning!

The company agreed to an exchange in size for me when it was a final sale item that my daughter bought and the size didn’t work. I really appreciated them understanding our situation and trying to help us out!

They have some really cute stuff, and I love that they display the reviews for each item. However I'm very disappointed they don't carry petite sizes. Some of the dresses I'm looking at are made for taller women. So each item is going to be a different length and fit differently due to each individual's height. So unfortunate I really wanted to love them but I'm afraid to buy anything for this reason.

Okay I really, desperately needed a dress for a dear friend’s wedding. When making big purchases I’m pretty extensive in my research so that way I’m not throwing away money I don’t really have. I found THE dress at Selfie Leslie, but was a little worried about that $9.75 return fee, so I double checked my measurements and got the opinion on which color I should go with from literally everyone in my life. It shipped SUPER fast, and I loved the style, design, & quality. However, it still was a little big in the waist (I was in between sizes so I went up just in case) and I didn’t love the color with my skin tone. Not their fault, but I needed to exchange. I was a little confused with the return/exchange process and was starting to panic a little bit at one point, but the customer service team explained it all and worked with me on my specific issues. They were super understanding and made me feel a lot better. I can’t wait to get the new dress in and feel like a movie star (the dress is Perfect Day!). Thank you Selfie Leslie team :)

Do not ever buy from this site, it's a scam. Don't trust the positive reviews. Theyy cleverly present their site and social media as if they are a mid range boutique brand that has their own designs(e.g. Princess Polly, White Fox, Motel Rock). But it is very far from truth. Out of the 3 dresses I ordered, all of them were of terrible quality materials and tailoring, one of them, the sleeves don't even match each other. And the tags on the clothes themselves are proof that they just bulk purchased a bunch of cheap dresses from China (you can get this kind of garments for $30 at the most at those small, brandless little shops) but they charge at least $80 for each dress. I would attach pictures if I could but basically none of these dresses are made for this website.

Furthermore when I tried to contact the team about this, I got a reply that their "QC team will be in contact shortly". This was 3 weeks ago and when I sent them an email to prompt them again they just sent me a generic email on how to do returns. Plus they expect me to pay a fee for the returns which is unfair since I was scammed.
Here's hoping this can be resolved in due time. Worst online shopping experience ever!

I would recommend avoid this website as returning items is time consuming and costly. It took them over a month to issue a refund after they received my returning item.

Also although they offer "free return" if you purchase something before returning your item they still slap you with a $10 processing fee for processing. As well as unidentified other costs. So you end up getting a lot less back then what you originally paid for the item. Just not worth the hassle.

The Selfie Leslie team responded quickly to my email regarding a return. They requested I return in the original packaging but I did not have that, but the dress did still have a tag on it. With this information given to them, they were more than willing to accept it being returned in a clean bag as long as the tag is still on the item. I appreciated their willingness to work with me!

They are professional, polite, competent, and prompt with responses.
